Mr. Penna proudly served in the United States Air Force during World War II, Korea and Vietnam retiring as a Chief Master Sergeant after 29 years of service to his country. During his duty, he received numerous commendations to include two Purple Hearts, a Silver and Bronze Star Medals. Mr. Penna was the Founder and active member of N.A.J.I.F.F. (North American Jr. Independent Football Federation) since 1969. He was involved in youth sports for 40 years in the San Antonio area.
